Originally starting as Hawaii Forex, LLC and serving the professional trading community with DiNapoli Levels ("DLEVELS") training in foreign exchange, success in the practical application of DLEVELS to global markets prompted our branding transition to Oahu Capital.  Our training and services now encompass a much wider spectrum of financial products & services for the professional trading community.

Is DiNapoli Levels effective on Forex?

Over the years working with many systems and educators, our traders have found DiNapoli Levels to meet their needs as a well balanced methodology for trading decisions.

Our experience with traders had prompted us to centralize the core branding of our business around DiNapoli levels for this reason.  Joe's long standing experience in the markets over the last 35 years continues to thrive within our professional trading community (our private client forum).

A suggestion is to take a look at our blog where there are quite a few posts using DLEVELS specifically on Forex related trades.  We also make it a point to cover some forward analysis during webinars on our DiNapoli event calendar.

It boils down to things to areas you find important as there are pros & cons to each.  For example, many spot FX dealers offer Free platforms and data feeds to their clients in addition to demo accounts.  Trading FX futures, you might have added costs of a particular platform, data and exchange fees.

However, with FX futures and the recent release of E-micro FX products by the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange), traders will see the same familiar coventions (quotes) on FX futures as they would in the spot market and similar contract sizes (~ $1.00 - $1.25 / pip).  And, there is complete market transparency meaning there is no advantage on receiving bid / ask prices as one might find in working with a market maker.  Have you ever been requoted?  As the largest clearing exchange for FX products, CME maintains high liquidity on FX at near $100 billion per day.

Again, this is best answered by determining what's important to you in terms of cost and the type of market you're looking to trade.
